REBL x Leica present: Dominic Nahr- Where the City Breathes
Situated on the linguistic border between French- and German-speaking Switzerland, Biel is a city of coexistence. It brings together diverse identities without being confined to any one of them. Its urban fabric bears witness to decades of industrial development, migration, work and transformation: factories, residential buildings, shopping streets and quiet neighbourhoods stand side by side. The lake opens the city up to the outside world, whilst the centre concentrates the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Biel is direct, open and characterised by a quiet, natural sense of pride.
