To mark the 100th anniversary of Leica, REBL is presenting an exhibition by the New York star photographer Phil Penman about Biel/Bienne as part of the Biel/Bienne Festival of Photography. There will also be various events.

About the event
In January 2025, renowned Leica photographer Phil Penman from New York spent 96 hours visiting the city of Biel – and created a portrait of it from his very own perspective. Every morning at 5 a.m., Penman set out to discover the streets, neighbourhoods, people and surroundings of Biel. With three cameras slung around his neck, he documented special moments, iconic scenes and selected creative people from Biel. The result is a fascinating and captivating view of the city in black and white.
