he hall was packed, the atmosphere relaxed, the words impressive: star photographer Phil Penman presented his project ‘96 hours Biel-Bienne’ to a sold-out audience at the Rex cinema, talked about his career, moments of happiness and favourite pictures – and showed why Biel is more than just a stopover for him. Organised by Leica Camera Switzerland and REBL, the evening was a celebration for street photography fans, Leica enthusiasts and anyone who loves pictures with soul.
